The Discus Thrower of Myron

Diskovolos, a famous work of the ancient Greek artist Myron which dates back to around 450 BC. and depicts a young discus thrower before dropping the disc. The original bronze work is said to have been lost since antiquity but it rejoices in the Roman marble copies and the descriptions of Lucian we have managed to preserve to this day. Museum patina.
