Description
The crater was the vessel in which the Ancient Greeks drank their wine mixed with water, which is why its name comes from the word kerannimi which means mix. This particular crater is a Copy and belongs to the period around 480 BC. The first side depicts Zeus coming in the middle to stop the quarrel between Athena and Mars and the second side shows the conflict between Alexander the Great and Persian soldiers. All our works are 100% made in the traditional way of the Ancients in Greece, handmade by collaborating workshops upon exclusive order. Dimensions: 18M x 18W x 20W cm.
