Handmade alabaster column from the Corinthian period. The Minoans used columns to create large open spaces, light wells and altars for religious rituals. These traditions were continued by the later Mycenaean civilization, especially in the mansion or hall located in the center of their palaces. Material: Alabaster. Dimensions: 6M x 6W x 27W cm.
