The statue is a copy of the six Caryatids of the Erechtheion located on the Acropolis of Athens. The Caryatids are columns in the shape of a woman that supported the temple. The word Karyatis means daughter from Karyes, a city near Sparta. Used in architecture instead of columns as a decorative support on gates, facades, roofs. The statue is made of alabaster in Museum Patina. Dimensions: 7M x 6W x 26W cm
